Bare Bar Named Among the Top 100 Sustainable Companies for 2026
Bare Bar has been recognised as one of the Top 100 Sustainable Companies for 2026, earning a place on The Sustainability Awards’ list for our approach to personal care products.
This is a major milestone for us and recognition we’re incredibly proud to receive. The decisions behind our products, from recyclable packaging to removing palm oil from our soap formulations, have taken time, care and hard work.
Seeing that work recognised gives our small team something to celebrate.
What the Sustainability Awards Highlighted
The listing celebrates businesses across different industries taking practical steps towards sustainability.
In Bare Bar’s feature on The Sustainability Awards website, particular attention went to:
- Our plastic-free, reusable aluminium deodorant applicator.
- Our refillable deodorant system.
- The removal of palm oil from our soap formulations.
These are parts of the business we’ve worked hard to develop, so it means a great deal to see them highlighted.
A Refillable Deodorant Applicator Built to Stay
Our deodorant applicator, available in our Deodorant Starter Kit, was singled out in the feature, which noted the two and a half years spent developing it.
We have also sold more than 22,000 refills. Seeing customers return for refills makes the time spent developing the formula and applicator worthwhile—and makes this recognition particularly rewarding.
Palm Oil-Free Natural Soap
The Sustainability Awards also highlighted the removal of palm oil from our soap formulations which is a huge factor towards deforestation across the world.
For customers exploring our natural soap bars, this is one of the choices behind the range. For us, it represents the willingness to revisit our products and keep developing them.
We want people to enjoy what they use every day and feel informed about what they’re buying. Recognition like this gives us encouragement to keep putting that care into our work.
Recognition That Means a Lot
One line from the feature stood out:
- “You don’t need to be a huge company to challenge an entire industry.”
We’re still a small business based in Lancashire, which makes being included in this year’s Top 100 especially meaningful.
There’s a team behind every order, product decision and customer reply. This is a proud moment for the people who put that work in every day.
