Our soap bars are approximately 155g (10% larger than average soap on the market)

How long does one soap bar last?

A single Bare Bar typically lasts 4–6 weeks with daily use, depending on how often you shower and how you store it. To get the longest life from your bar, allow it to dry between uses on a well-draining soap dish.

What's the difference between Heavy Grit and Zero Grit?

Our bestselling soaps are available in two versions.

Heavy Grit contains natural exfoliants like pumice, walnut shell or bamboo powder to scrub away dirt and dead skin.

Zero Grit contains the same premium soap formula and scent, but without exfoliants for a smoother wash.

Whichever you choose, you'll enjoy the same rich lather and skin feel.

Will it dry out my skin?

No. Unlike many commercial soaps, every Bare Bar is made with nourishing plant oils and butters including olive oil, mango butter and shea butter. These create a creamy lather that leaves skin feeling clean without that tight, stripped feeling.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Our soaps are made using naturally derived ingredients and are free from palm oil. If you have particularly sensitive skin, we recommend choosing one of our gentler scents or our unscented option.

Can I use it on my face?

Our soaps are primarily designed for the body. Some customers do use them on their face, but if you have sensitive or acne-prone facial skin we recommend using a cleanser formulated specifically for facial use.

Are your soaps suitable for vegans?

Most of our soap bars are vegan-friendly, although a small number contain ingredients such as honey or other non-vegan additives. Please check the ingredients on each product page for details.

Where are your soaps made?

Every Bare Bar is formulated, poured, cut, cured and packed by hand in our Lancashire workshop. We don't outsource production, allowing us to maintain quality throughout every stage.

How should I store my soap?

Allow your soap to dry fully between uses. A draining soap dish will help your bar last longer and perform at its best.

Do your soaps produce a good lather?

Absolutely. Our palm oil-free recipe combines coconut oil, castor oil, mango butter and shea butter to create a rich, creamy lather that rinses away cleanly while leaving skin feeling refreshed.

Why do you offer Heavy Grit and Zero Grit?

Everyone has different preferences. Some people love a proper exfoliating scrub after work or the gym, while others prefer a smoother everyday wash. That's why our bestselling soaps are available in both Heavy Grit and Zero Grit—same scent, same premium formula, your choice.

We use Royal Mail's 48 Hour Tracked Premium Service. All of our orders are classed as a small parcel due to the large size of our Soap Bars.
